Draft notice

This document is a working draft for the Mira beta. It describes how we operate today, but it is not a substitute for bespoke legal counsel. We will replace it with finalized terms before general availability.

1. What Mira is

Mira(“Mock Interview Readiness Assistant”) is an AI-powered interview preparation tool operated by WeTalkStartups. It analyses resumes against job descriptions, runs voice-based mock recruiter calls, and generates structured feedback reports. Mira is not a recruiter, not an employer, not a job board, and not a guarantee of any hiring outcome. The AI recruiter you speak to is software.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Mira.
  • You must not be barred from receiving services under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • If you create an account on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Your account

  • You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity on your account.
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
  • Notify us promptly at shaheryar@wetalkstartups.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person, one account. Don’t share accounts or resell access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have rights to (including third-party resumes, confidential job descriptions, or proprietary materials).
  • Use Mira to harass, defame, deceive, or impersonate another person.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models, prompts, or training data.
  • Probe, attack, or interfere with the service’s infrastructure or other users’ sessions.
  • Use the service to build a competing product or to train a competing AI model.
  • Generate or attempt to generate content that is illegal, discriminatory, or violates the AI provider’s usage policies.
  • Bypass rate limits, security controls, or usage caps.

5. Your content

You own the resumes, job descriptions, transcripts, and other content you submit (“Your Content”). You grant WeTalkStartups a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you — for example, parsing your resume, generating analysis and reports, and showing them back to you.

We do not use Your Content to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Our content

The Miraservice, including the design, code, prompts, rubrics, and the “Mira” brand, is owned by WeTalkStartups and protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the service for your own interview prep, subject to these terms.

7. AI output disclaimer

Mira’s scores, fit analyses, interview plans, transcripts, and feedback are produced by AI models. They may contain errors, omissions, hallucinations, or biased assessments. They are training signals for your prep — not predictions of how a real recruiter will evaluate you, and not an offer, promise, or representation of any kind.

Always apply your own judgment before acting on AI-generated feedback, especially before changing your resume or how you describe yourself professionally.

8. Beta & pricing

Mira is currently offered in beta and may be free, free with usage caps, or paid. We may change pricing, introduce paid tiers, or limit free usage at any time. If we introduce a paid tier, terms specific to billing, refunds, and cancellation will be presented separately at the time of purchase and incorporated by reference.

9. Service availability & changes

  • We may add, modify, or remove features at any time.
  • The service is provided on an “as is” basis and may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime during the beta.
  • Voice calls depend on third-party voice infrastructure and your local network and microphone. Calls may fail to connect, drop, or produce incomplete transcripts.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeTalkStartups provides Mira“as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI-generated output. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores or feedback are correct.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeTalkStartups and its affiliates, contractors, and employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, opportunity, or employment, arising from or related to your use of Mira. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to Mira is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) US$50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WeTalkStartups and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the service in violation of these terms, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

  • You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a security or legal risk — with or without prior notice where the law permits.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or via an in-product notice before they take effect. Your continued use of Miraafter changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

15. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to WeTalkStartups’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution of any dispute by contacting shaheryar@wetalkstartups.com before initiating formal proceedings.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and WeTalkStartups about the service.
  • Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign them to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

17. Contact

Reach the WeTalkStartups team for legal questions, takedown requests, or anything else about these terms.
